on another note.. ive never hurd of .asn... so how would people even relise it's a domain name??

liberty.org.au

bit of a shame.. but I still feel libertygt.com.au was the best domain!! :'( fark arse owns it tho!

I think the current domain name is better. I did joint up to libertygt.com.au before this forum started, but at the same time, I actually didn't think I should have because I knew I probably wasn't going to buy a GT. The only reason I did was that there didn't seem to be anything more suited at the time, going by the url at least.

As for .asn, noone would have known what .org or even .com meant when they first created it. When I think of .org I tend to think of charitable organisations or other organisations for community benefit.

How would the GT guys feel about LibertyNA.com ? ;)

Just for the record.
.COM.AU = Commercial = Registered businesses with an ABN
.NET.AU = Commercial = same rules as .com.au (was originally meant to be for ISPs, but due to original heavy restrictiopns on .com.au, was used for businesses also)
.EDU.AU = Education = Schools and universities
.ORG.AU = Organisation = Non commercial clubs, associations etc.
.ASN.AU = Association = Non commercial clubs, associations etc.
.ID.AU = Personal use.

(From http://www.auda.org.au/policies/auda-2005-01/ )

So technically, .asn.au and .org.au are equivalent, although I also associate .org.au with charities, and .asn.au with sporting clubs.

The current name is good "Liberty.asn.au"
(with full stops not joined to the bottom line)

As long as it will fit on the back window to one side of the stop light. I don’t have a wagon :?

The current version is 381x21mm
If the "CLUB." was dropped, it would be a bit shorter.
Get out your ruler if see how that fits :D

(It has to be all upper case, to try to match the "LIBERTY" logo on the car ;))

Liberty.asn.au is good. Prefer it in the option 3 format.

Also think we should be all putting the sticker in the same place.

It looks better on the back window of sedans, and the rear-side windows on wagons.

Could get a big one for the top of the front windcreen, that'd be way cool... 8)
